CEO quits welsh-speaking channel S4C

Iona Jones, the chief executive of the Welsh-speaking channel S4C has made a sudden exit after meeting with the channel’s governing body.

S4C – funded by tax payers – faces cuts of up to 24 per cent to its annual grant of £101m and has faced criticism for poor service since switching to digital last year.
