ITV look to the horizon with new hiring

ITV is expanding its digital horizons by hiring Paul Dale in the role of chief technology officer.

Speaking of what his role means for the broadcaster, Dale said:

“Every technology-dependent business has the ability to grow and remain relevant in a changing world. With the right technology behind them, broadcasters, content owners and, more importantly, ITV have a wealth of opportunity ahead.”

Dale has been a former Sky and BBC senior executive, and moves from his previous role at Asian pay-TV operator Astro, where he carried out the same role.
